BYAT: Criminalization 101 for Information Workers (Virtual)

Join For The People Leftist Library for a teach-in as part of Interrupting Criminalization and Project NIA’s Building Your Abolitionist Toolbox series. We’ll be covering the various intersections of libraries, library work, and criminalization, including surveillance and privacy issues, retribution against library workers, social work and social services, and more. The session will also include power mapping, resource-sharing, and opportunities for discussion.

Facilitators: Mariame Kaba, Megan Riley, and Bean Yogi

TICKETS

Donation-Based Tickets: One donation = One ticket. If you are making a donation, please do not select Community Ticket. Just put the donation amount in Eventbrite and submit your order.

Community Tickets: Please reserve free tickets for people of color and people with limited income only. We really mean this. Please don't use a free ticket if you can afford to make even a small donation.
