Who Can Publish? A [short] History of Black Women (Self) Publishers

Black women have been self-publishing their work for generations.

Join Mariame Kaba of Interrupting Criminalization and Sojourners for Justice Press for a discussion about Black women (self) publishers. This event will also offer examples of Black women who started small presses to publish work by others. Finally, participants will be invited to reflect on the types of books that they might want to self-publish in the future.
